I specialize in treating children and teenagers who are prone to verbal or physical aggression, fail to comply with requests from parents/guardians, or refuse to take responsibility for their actions. I utilize various modalities of treatment, but most often use a combination of Brainspotting, Gestalt, CBT, and Person-Centered approaches.
My approach to counseling is centered on non-judgment and mindfulness. I believe that by utilizing the present moment as much as possible, we can tap into the true essence of our feelings, thoughts, and motivations. This method is often effective in fostering a deeper understanding and connection with oneself and others.
