Being truly heard and seen are two of the most healing experiences we can ever have. Being able to share authentically ourselves with another person, without judgement, is a gift that keeps on giving. Do you feel truly heard and seen in your relationships? Are you out of the closet, but do you still feel guilt or shame about your identity? Are you sober curious? Have you been harmed by religion, but want to connect more spiritually? Do you feel trapped in a pattern of choices that, while you recognize aren’t supportive, you continue making despite the negative consequences? I can relate. I’ve been there.
I'm a humanistic and client-centered LGBTQ-affirmative therapist. My primary area of focus includes helping gay men heal past pain so that they wake up feeling a greater sense of purpose, self-acceptance, and belonging. I also specialize in working with people who specifically want spirituality to be a resource in their therapy.
What I've learned from my own healing journey is that just like physical exercise, unless we do the work, we won’t see the results. I use a combination of both Western and Eastern philosophies in my therapeutic approach. If you're ready to gain a greater sense of purpose, healing, self-acceptance, and belonging, reach out today.

Groups
Gay Men's Therapy Group

The Gay Men's Therapy Group can be summed up in one of my favorite quotes by Ben Loory, "Once there was a man who was afraid of his shadow. Then he met it. Now he glows in the dark." Weekly groups include a thoughtful discussion on topics such as: self-image, living our values, acceptance (of self, life, and others), an experiential exercise, and a meditation/grounding technique. Come learn to connect with yourself and others using your strengths and by focusing on solutions. This is a 6-week group for gay men 30+.
