About
Over the course of an individual's life, new events can lead to a disruption in the ability to effectively cope with stressors that may have once been handled effectively. As such, my professional focus is on helping clients who have been through a traumatic/stressful event heal more effectively so that they may resume their lives in a healthier and happier manner. I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral and Strength-based approach, and specific mental health concerns I specialize in include, but are not limited to, Relationship Difficulties, Parenting, Addiction, ADHD, Depression/Anxiety, Trauma/PTSD, and Grief.
I am a licensed Psychologist and have more than 15 years experience in the mental health field. I have extensive experience providing therapy to adults, children, and families in both individual and family formats. Additionally, I have many years of experience administering and interpreting mental health assessments (IQ/Personality Inventories).
I was certified in 2015 through the Yale Parenting Center in the Kazdin Parent Management Training approach for Oppositionally-Defiant Children.
