My goal is for my clients to describe me as fully present, warm, trustworthy, and welcoming of their entire selves. It is important for me to bring authenticity, compassion, and directness to my therapy relationships. I will work with you to develop a holistic understanding of yourself, your identities, your relationships, and your daily contexts to best understand and resolve the concerns you bring to therapy. I strive to provide safe and affirming therapy to individuals from all backgrounds and encourage dialogue on identity in therapy.
I enjoy working with a range of concerns, and I employ a range of therapeutic modalities so that I may tailor the therapy experience to each person. I have extensive experience with depression and anxiety, trauma and complex trauma, interpersonal/relational concerns, and issues specific to those with LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized identities.
The importance of having a good fit with your therapist cannot be overstated. I hope the information I have provided here assists you in deciding whether to reach out to me. I look forward to the opportunity to talk with you about whether I might be the right therapist for you at this time. Please feel welcome to get in touch to schedule a free consultation!
