I specialize in providing therapy to teens and young and middle-aged adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and life adjustment concerns. Additionally, I specialize in helping overwhelmed parents develop strategies and skills to help their kids cope with mental health and performance challenges. These days, many people feel depressed and anxious because of negative thoughts about self, overwhelming circumstances, and challenging relational dynamics. These challenges make it difficult for people to experience life with joy and satisfaction and function to their full potential.

I am a big believer in every person's capacity to change their experience and circumstances. I can help people regain their motivation and joy in life by fostering a safe environment where people can be their authentic selves and experience nonjudgmental connection as they discuss the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are troubling them.

If you are feeling overwhelmed and discouraged, you are not alone. While counseling is not the only way to feel better, many people find it be a safe place to gain insight and valuable tools to handle their challenges. I work with people suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, and family/relational concerns. In the first session, I focus on gaining knowledge of the primary problem the client is concerned about and what the client hopes to gain from therapy. Clients can begin to see symptoms lift as they gain awareness of their thoughts and patterns in subsequent sessions and gain practice using coping skills.
