If you find yourself struggling to effectively communicate with others, feeling misunderstood by those around you, or invalidated by the world, I create a space that is emotionally safe, validating, and holds space for change. Nothing is static; everything is always changing, even when it doesn’t feel like it. I believe strongly that we are all doing the best we can and need to do better. I offer support in finding ways to safely cope with and soothe difficult emotions and finding solutions to decrease behaviors that are causing harm and further distress.
I offer a DBT-informed and solution-focused approach to therapy for teens and adults. My specialties include depression, suicidal thoughts, self-injury, family stress, life transitions, co-parenting, and borderline personality disorder/challenges with emotional regulation.
Using a feminist perspective, I work with folks of all genders and sexualities, recognizing the effect of social expectations of gender on mental health and wellbeing, and I hold space for folks of all identities and experiences who are looking for support and to make change in their lives.
