With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have devoted my career to supporting individuals, couples, and families through compassionate clinical therapy and faith-based counseling. I have worked in various settings, including private practice, hospitals, mental health clinics, and end-of-life care environments.
I am passionate about creating safe, supportive, and engaging spaces where families and individuals can thrive. I believe that each person is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, along with the right to self-determination.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the individual needs and diagnoses of those I work with. I utilize a variety of techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, family systems therapy, grief counseling, and faith-based counseling.
I have specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy, transactional analysis, neuro- linguistic programming, client-centered therapy, and hypnosis/hypnotherapy, along with experience in pastoral counseling and chaplaincy training. I became a social worker in 1991 and I hold a Master's in Social work and a Master's in Divinity.
