Life is hard and running away from problems feels easier than facing them. But are you tired of running? While anxiety, depression, and loneliness are all parts of the human condition, and will ebb and flow throughout your life, avoiding these uncomfortable feelings will only lead to low self-esteem, loneliness, perfectionism, co-dependency, disordered eating, etc. In our time together, you will learn how to stop avoiding discomfort and instead engage in new thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors to heal old wounds and reclaim your life.
Using a foundation of CBT, Existentialism, and EMDR, my aim is to help you live according to your values, identity, and ideal self. I will challenge the parts of you that think that you are unlovable, that there is something wrong with you, or that you are not capable of change.
Talking to a stranger can be awkward and uncomfortable. My aim is to offer you a safe space to be vulnerable, to be comfortable being yourself, and to ultimately feel heard and understood.
