I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(LMFT) working with adult individuals. I work with a wide range of people surrounding topics of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, along with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness(SPMI). I have a long history of working in-home with my clients and I have extensive work with racial, economic, sexual, and gender diversity. I strive to cater my therapy toward the individual and meet others where they are at in their healing process. I use a person centered approach and as a neurodivergent transwoman, I am both neuro-affirming and gender-affirming in my approach.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing(EMDR) along with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(TF-CBT). I have formal training surrounding ADHD. I have a joy for gaming and overall geek culture. Because of this, I will often times incorporate various metaphors and techniques derived from various gaming and cultural mediums.
My approach is collaborative and I want to be able to meet you where you are at in your healing journey. I am not one to shy away from a difficult topic or hard conversation and I work toward approaching them with care and compassion. I have a strong passion working with individuals that are neurodivergent as I myself am neurodivergent.
