I have years of experience in a variety of mental health rolls. I have worked on each end of the spectrum- inpatient to private practice. The majority of my clients are equally male and female from teenagers, young adults, and mothers. I love working with clients of all ages and stages in life, but if you find yourself dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, or motherhood issues, I'd love to speak with you! If things such as mom guilt, perfectionism, over-thinking, postpartum issues, or intrusive thoughts are troubling you, these are all issues I'd love to tackle with you.
For most clients, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We begin our counseling relationship with education about how CBT works and what to expect. This therapeutic techniques help clients focus on how our thoughts and feelings control our behaviors. For patients with OCD and extreme phobias, I use Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy.
I strive to make my clients feel both supported and empowered to ensure a healthy therapeutic outcome. I supply my clients with resources, multiple counseling techniques, and psychoeducation throughout his or her time with me.
