I am Chiquana Bryant, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. I have been working in the mental health field since 2006, starting as a community supports worker and case manager. I became a licensed therapist in 2012 and have gained a wealth of knowledge from my experiences with the many individuals I’ve counseled. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of people, including small children and caregivers dealing with trauma and attachment issues, oppositional and defiant teenagers facing behavioral challenges, and adults exploring the underlying causes of their mental and emotional difficulties.
I have extensive knowledge in addressing attachment issues, particularly between young children and their primary caregivers. I believe that any situation can be approached with a listening ear, an understanding of how the mind and emotions work, and patience.
For me, the most important aspect of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Being able to relate to, empathize with, and understand you without judgment or bias allows me to serve and support you as you work through whatever mental and emotional challenges you may be facing.
