I have been working in my field of clinical psychotherapy for well over a decade, and I am licensed in 3 states (Arizona, Nevada & Texas). I am passionate about addressing clients' dysfunctional relationships with themselves, others or even a substance, and TRULY understand the impact those dysfunctions have on the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks, maintain a job, maintain proper self-care and the erosion of peace and stability that becomes seemingly unattainable. Cloy Dellaripa received her Master’s degree from Arizona State University in Community Counseling in 2007. She began work in family and adolescent counseling in 2008 for families experiencing crisis and trauma. More recently, Cloy works with addiction recovery, dual diagnosis and complex trauma clients. She has received advanced training in PTSD, trauma counseling, veteran recovery, Ayurvedic Sciences, mindfulness and meditation practices and is a certified Yoga and Yoga Nidra instructor. Cloy enjoys utilizing the healing benefits of nature in her therapeutic work. Cloy is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting.

In my practice I see individuals who are dealing with all types of painful problems revolving around issues concerning struggles with relationships, loss/bereavement, addictions, mood disorders and anxiety concerns. At times, life can be difficult especially when overwhelming circumstances occur that are beyond a person's normal realm of experience. Learning new coping skills and discovering how to be more self-protective by setting healthy boundaries and limits through a process of self-empowerment is the primary goal in the counseling setting. I work hard with clients to find their best solution.

I have found my calling to become a social worker out of desire and passion to help people live a fulfilling and balance life. My life experience includes years of committed motherhood, care givers for 34 years to a brother who has intellectual disabilities. I have a deep belief in the restorative powers of self-knowledge, self-acceptance and unconditional love. With open for support, and extensive-self exploration of the healing process I have walked away my own PTSD having survive six years Refugee Camp.

I have been assisting individuals, couples, groups and families navigate the difficulties that accompany Substance Abuse/Dependence, Dual-Diagnosis, Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Recovery and relationship difficulties for over 20 years. My experience supporting and guiding clients through theses life experiences has taught me that what we can usually expect to find beneath these presenting behaviors can be a mix of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, betrayal, trauma and stress. This is what creates unmanageability. Together we will design healthy coping skills and boundaries in order to create awareness and restore manageability.
