I enjoy working with preteen/teens who struggle with depression, anxiety, and those questioning gender identity. I love watching them develop their own self confidence by becoming more funtional at home, school, and in personal relationships. I work with families to help them work together and take on life's challenges with their kids. I also enjoy working with women to build confidence and deal with anxiety and depression. In addition to that, I work with 212 Behavioral which is a parent focused program. We go into the home and help parents set up a routine and build a family vision with their kid(s).

My practice is geared towards providing counseling services to young children (with a focus on age 2-4), as well as clients recovering from issues related to COMPLEX trauma. I am trained in SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy), developed for children with complex trauma, and I am provisionally certified as a Drumbeat facilitator.

My eclectic approach to clients is best described as a mixture of Art and Science. I respect each client's experience and work to provide an approach that is personal, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe each client deserves a nonjudgmental and caring supporter on their path to healing and wellness.

Trained in Christian marriage and family counseling - as you might expect, my practice naturally focuses on all things family. Whether I'm helping marriages rekindle their spark, discovering that ever so subtle intervention which transforms discord into family harmony, or breaking through the invisible wall of an obstinate adolescent or child - with over 35 years in the field, there's little I haven't dealt with.

I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, parents, and young adults. Having served as a teacher turned school counselor, I know firsthand how challenging these formative years can be for all involved (students, parents, and educators). I work with clients struggling with unhealthy coping skills and dysfunctional survival traits as an adaptation to a deeper issue. Those struggling with personality disorders, codependency, trauma, OCD, anxiety, perfectionism and eating disorders are among my areas of expertise. Trauma populations include but are not limited to sexual trauma, military trauma, spiritual trauma, emotional, physical, neglect and abandonment. I also enjoy working with children for a variety of issues including anxiety, adjustment, and behavioral disorders.

Hello! My name is Ramon. My own experiences and hardships with trauma ignited my passion for therapy. I believe that our experiences shape us in ways that are extremely personal and unique. This is why I love to get to know my clients on a personal level. Figuring out what works for the individual and meeting my client at where they are is paramount to me.

I work with a wide range of individuals who are often faced with depression, stress, anxiety, self-harm, relationship issues, and addiction, The goal of the client is to develop a healthier mental state to be better able to handle psycho-social stressors, by learning coping strategies which will enable them to handle current and future challenges they may face.

We offer IOP services! EMDR Trained. Are you dealing with depression, suicidal, anxiety (stress), divorce/blended family issues, unhealthy relationships, low self esteem, adhd, difficulty in making decisions, or need help coping? Individual, couple, and family counseling are provided to assist you. Group counseling is also available for anger management, stress, parenting and teacher support group at the Arlington location. We are available mornings and evenings, Mon-Thur and specialize with kids, adolescents, adults, family and couples.
