There is nothing quite like a safe space to just be and heal. I would love to provide that for you as we unpack challenges such as stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship matters, parenthood, the peri-natal journey (conception, pregnancy, child loss, childbirth, postpartum, etc.), trauma, and life and career transitions, among others. As a first-generation Nigerian-American, I am especially passionate about holding space for those who identify as immigrants, children of immigrants and undocumented citizens to work through the often complex acculturation experiences and unique stresses they may face.
I focus on offering eclectic therapeutic support to individuals (particularly those of color) using a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, and strengths-based approach, while employing various therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic (Person-Centered) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
I believe so much in the transformative power of therapy in mental health and wellness, and that every person has the innate ability to heal and nurture themselves with the right support. I am eager to simply meet you where you are on your journey and work together to realize the best version of YOU. I hope you will take the next step and connect with me!
