Welcome! As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor I believe everyone has their own story and I am honored that these stories are entrusted to me for processing and healing. In my work, I draw from my education, clinical experience, and personal experience, including my own successes and failures. My goal in the therapy room is to be open, respectful, curious, and to hold you accountable to your healing journey. My therapeutic orientation is holistic and systemic, which means I treat people biologically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually.

My clients reach out to me for a variety of reasons: unhappiness, discontentment, or a general sense of unrest or chaos within themselves or their family. It takes immense courage to seek therapy, and then to show up and bring your experiences and needs into our sessions with the ultimate aim of decreases the conflict you feel inside. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. However, I have worked with many mental health issues over the years and frequently work with stress, addiction, motivation, intimacy issues, family conflict, life changes/adjustments, grief, communication issues, emotional regulation, parenting, self-esteem, and personal growth and discovery. I have extensive experience working with adults, teens, couples and families.

I have a dual Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Child, Couple, Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS), a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART), a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (C-DBT). I have experience with Inpatient & Outpatient Treatment, School and Work Support, Probation Requirements as well as facilitated Couple, Family and Group Therapy since 2001.

I have over 20 years of experience working as a mental health counselor in the State of Washington. My areas of expertise include individual, couple, and family therapy. My specialties are PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Also, I have been facilitating different groups for 20 years and a DBT group for 9 years. All of the clients who have committed themself to this DBT class have learned some specific DBT skills that they can apply in their daily lives when they feel depressed or anxious.

I provide therapy for infants, children up to age 12, adults 18+, & pregnant/expecting/perinatal folks. Most of my clients are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, parenting, ADHD, & trauma related to their relationships or family. In addition, I provide: parent support, Circle of Security Parenting group facilitation a few times a year, & consultation for early learning centers & other providers & therapists. Uniquely, I provide home visiting mental health services for the perinatal/0-6 age group.
