Many of today's problems are a result of the complicated, fast-paced world in which we live; a world that threatens man's emotional stability. Clients come to counselors looking for hope. Many times they feel desperate, pursuing what seems like their last option. They are looking for someone who is kind and sensitive, but also for someone who knows how to diagnose their problems and help them improve their situation. If this is you, I am your resource. I will never provide my clients a solution that does not give the very best in me.

For clients who have trauma histories, sometimes talk therapy isn’t enough to fully heal from the past. Traumatic experiences can get stuck in our nervous system, sending a constant signal to our bodies that we are in danger, even long after the danger has passed. Unfortunately, what we know on a mind level we don’t always feel in our bodies.

I honed my helping skills providing over a decade of individual, couple, and family counseling and working several years in the crisis intervention and crisis stabilization field in the states of California and Virginia. My experience and knowledge equips me to share with others as a marriage and family therapist, minister, coach, consultant and author, and allows me to facilitate positive change in peoples' lives. As a helper of people, I understand that we, human beings, express our greatest potential when we discover and remove the obstacles that hinder our capabilities.

I am a compassionate and experienced therapist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages (7 and up) navigate their mental health journey. With a focus on evidence-based practices such as TF CBT, brief therapies, and solution-focused therapy, I provide a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. As a Trauma-Informed practitioner, I integrate various modalities and Expressive Therapies like painting, journaling, music, and movement. Specializing in working with children aged seven and above, I have a natural affinity for teenagers who often find comfort and support in our sessions.
