I am a masters level licensed professional clinical counselor and a board certified art therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. I believe I am most effective when meeting each individual where they are at the current time, whether that be typical adolescent developmental growth, teenage to young adult navigation of life's expectations, or adult contemplation. I use complimentary therapy approaches in helping individuals utilize their strengths to manage obstacles in their life. I've had the sincere pleasure of being a therapist for 35 years. Having worked in a variety of settings has prepared me to be able to provide compassionate guidance to people wrestling with mood disorders (anxiety, depression and bi-polar) as well as to those experiencing struggles in their relationships (marital and family). For the past ten years in private practice, I have continued to assist others using a variety of therapeutic approaches: psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, relaxation and coping skills, grief therapy and assertiveness training.

Michael Baskin is a licensed independent social worker with over 40 years of experience in mental healthcare. He received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University and his master's degree from Case Western Reserve University. He has previously worked in community mental health, private practice, outpatient and school-based settings. He has extensive training in family systems and in Jungian studies. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award form the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board of Cuyahoga County in 2018. He specializes in issues regarding grief, death, illness-related issues, mood disorders and family systems.

Steve Fratantonio is a licensed mental health counselor studying for his doctorate in counseling psychology. He has more than 15 years of experience providing mental health care services to children, adolescents and adults in private practice and community mental health. His specialty area of interest is working with both adults and adolescents, as well as their families. He has advanced training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and alternatives for families: cognitive behavioral therapy (AF-CBT).

Doug Hornbeck has more than 35 years experience in mental health care working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. He previously served as a supervisor for the psychiatric intake department through the Cleveland Clinic Health System and managed an Intensive Outpatient Program. In private practice for more than 10 years, he has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), hypnosis and critical incident stress debriefing. He also has more than 20 years experience working with the HIV/AIDS population.

Dr. Rakos received his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Kent State University and his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He recently retired from his position as associate dean for faculty and program development in the College of Sciences and Health Professions at Cleveland State University, where he also was a professor of psychology. Dr. Rakos is widely published in the areas of assertiveness training, self-management, law and psychology, and cultural analysis, and is the author of Assertive Behavior: Theory, Research and Training.

Hello, we live in a very stressful time and things are becoming more difficult for couples, families and children everyday. I have over 9 years of clinical experience and I understand many of the societal, family, and interpersonal factors that contribute to the challenges we face today.
