After 18 years of using this tool I am still amazed at how profoundly and quickly clients heal from tremendous pain and struggles. EMDR is often considered to be used only and primarily for a discreet trauma like a car accident. In fact, however, EMDR is a tool that incorporates how the brain processes information every night during REM sleep.
