I have over 25 years experience providing Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment in a great deal of diverse settings. I am interested in learning more about (you ) and (your ) goals and objectives for therapy. I believe a counseling relationship works best when you are comfortable with a therapist and free to be who you are. I help you reach this goal by bringing to the session , experience , honesty of myself , kindness and genuine regard. I am part of the Veteran Choice Programs to receive VA referrals.

I understand the strength that it takes to reach out for support. Life and relationships can be painfully complicated and messy. I am here to work through your concerns along with you and to provide support while you navigate challenges and life transitions. I will remain focused on your treatment goals and conduct sessions in an ethical and professional manner.

Arbor Counseling is a group practice with several providers equipped to see people with a variety of needs across the lifespan. We treat children, adolescents, adults and families for anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, panic attacks, transition, grief, burnout, etc. Each of our providers have their own specialty but we all have a passion and respect for the healing potential of a person's faith and relationship with God that can be incorporated in treatment based on the requests of each person. We are usually able to accommodate whoever calls or will assist in finding someone who can help.

I help men with life transitions and work issues, partners navigate relationship issues and families resolve conflict. I help with difficult children & adolescents and wrote "How to Change Your Child's Behavior". It highlights principles of good parenting, why children get out of control, and how to establish rules. My protocol is used by schools, child welfare agencies, and juvenile justice systems. I also specialize in treating ADHD.
