I have over 25 years experience providing Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment in a great deal of diverse settings. I am interested in learning more about (you ) and (your ) goals and objectives for therapy. I believe a counseling relationship works best when you are comfortable with a therapist and free to be who you are. I help you reach this goal by bringing to the session , experience , honesty of myself , kindness and genuine regard. I am part of the Veteran Choice Programs to receive VA referrals.

During life's most challenging moments, we can feel overwhelmed and weighed down, making it hard to navigate through our experiences. This can result in various difficulties that impact our ability to find joy in life. As a counselor, my aim is to simplify the counseling journey. While it involves exploring sensitive issues that may be difficult to discuss, my goal is to provide support and guidance as we work together towards your healing and personal growth over time.

Over 5 years of experience helping others heal in various mental health settings. I worked with children and their parents in hospitals, schools, non-profit institutions, and foster care organizations. My mental health focus has been postpartum depression, depression, anxiety, and poor self-esteem in both youth and adults. I thrive to help others manage and develop coping strategies, self-esteem, self-confidence, reduce stress, and build resilience. I use a strength based and cognitive restructuring approach.

Born and raised in the beautiful Mojave Desert of Southern California, I am a Small Town Girl with a Big Passionate Heart! I am the proud wife of a Disabled Marine Corps Veteran who is also an Ordained Minister. I am a mom, a daughter, an aunt, a sister, a friend, and a grandma (or 'Mimi' as I prefer). I am an Ordained Minister with The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, and I have an identical twin sister! (I was the surprise baby Noone knew about) I have a 'Down-To-Earth'' Approach in my therapy and offer Professional Clinical Counseling for both Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorders-from a Christian Worldview!
