I am drawn to this quote and to counseling because I am a person who has lived through a storm or two. And, although your storm and mine may not look the same, I believe we all have common needs: to heal from something in our past, to overcome stress, fear and anxiety that makes us feel powerless and hopeless, or to navigate through an important relationship that is difficult.

Victoria Riordan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio who has worked with families, couples, and individuals aged 6-98, including veterans. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds who are seeking help with a variety of difficulties, including anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, career, social skills, self-esteem, organization/focus, and depression.

I have over 18 years experience working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples to address issues related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, child abuse/neglect/trauma, behavioral issues, and grief/loss. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, family and relationship conflict, and chronic stress. Donisha received her Bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in Human Development and Family Studies. She received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati.

As we progress into the second year of being limited in traveling, gathering and socializing, we are finding ourselves less able to avoid our triggers, struggles, self image and overcome messages of being misunderstood and alone. For some, these last two years have caused more strain than strength within your relationship with children, family and or your partner. Hello!
