Katherine “Katie” Kirkholder (pronouns: she/her) is an experienced clinical intern with CT status who works with adults, adolescents, and children. She is studying to become a licensed professional counselor and art therapist. Her specialty interests include: mood and personality disorders, depression, anxiety, coping skills, trauma, self-harm, girls’ and women’s issues, and overall health and wellness. She utilizes treatment approaches that are uniquely tailored to each client.

I enjoy helping clients build skills to succeed in life whether they are dealing with life stresses or serious mental health issues. I believe in using an integrated approach tailored to my client's needs. I work with adults, families, children aged 6 and up and teens. I also enjoy working with groups.

Lauren Kustec is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Lauren has experience working with individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and of all ages. Lauren has provided treatment to individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, and other mental health issues that impact daily living.

St. John the Baptist Recovery Outreach Center, a Ministry of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, was established to aid personal struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol. We collaborate extensively with other community agencies, hospitals, residential programs, and sober living to provide barrier removal and access to treatment services for clients seeking recovery. We take a holistic approach to treatment, combining both substance use and mental health services.
