In Internal Family Systems Therapy, we don't try to control or make these thoughts go away, we help you get into a relationship with those parts of yourself. In IFS we believe that everyone has a Self- an inner wisdom that embodies calm, clarity, compassion, creativity, connectedness, courage, confidence, and curiousity.
I am a Certified IFS Therapist. IFS is my passion! I find this approach to be an effective model to address a variety of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, and attachment wounds stemming from adverse, traumatic experiences across the life span as well as internal conflict about everyday problems.
I work with my clients on finding the right pace so to not overwhelm their inner system. I aim to help my clients live a more Self-led life. I firmly believe that the Self in all of us remains "unbroken", no matter what we have gone through in life. Healing is possible. I've witnessed it with my clients, and also, myself.
