Despite the suffering that is inherent in life, humans are highly resilient beings! This suffering may include being afflicted with mental illness. Part of this resilience is that we are social beings. Thus, it must come as no surprise that Counseling is a career and that it works! Counseling can work very well, for all communities of people if there is a true connection between clinician and client. In my career I have demonstrated the ability to build this connection with my clients, many of whom have made significant progress in treatment, regardless of their condition.

I am a Licensed Social Worker who graduated with his Bachelor’s degree and Master's degree in 2021 and 2022, respectively. I have served in the United States’ military since 2006, which has included travel throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, as well as throughout the United States. During this time, due to his transient lifestyle, I have honed the ability to cultivate meaningful connections with people from various cultures and backgrounds. I believe everyone has a unique combination lock to protect their thoughts, feelings, and will; and once unlocked, the answers to one’s troubles are discovered.

Chris Young received his master's degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and his bachelor's degree in psychology from Xavier University. He also received advanced training in psychodynamic therapy at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. He provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults ages 15 and older. His areas of specialty include anxiety, adjustment issues, divorce, grief and loss, self-esteem issues and interpersonal and occupational strain and conflicts.

I love people on the Autism Spectrum and value them for who they are. My goal is to help them becomes as independent, happy, and healthy as possible. I see Autism and its strengths as something to be cherished, not something to be "fixed." I also love supporting the people who guide persons with Autism and want them to feel as though they are supported as well.

Dan understands that the key to an effective and positive therapy experience is to first understand the individual. He further describes his role as a guide for those struggling with mental strife or unrest as they transition to a place of peace. Hello and good day. My name is Dr. Mason and I am a child clinical psychologist. Parents and caregivers, if you have concerns related to your child's development in areas of cognition, language, learning, behavior, social, or emotional functioning, I am here to help. Examples may include problems with achieving early developmental milestones such as a child verbalizing his or her first words, difficulties with understanding and processing abstract information, or challenges with behavior and/or learning at school. I am here to assist you by offering assessment, testing, and treatment recommendations for your child and family.

I work specifically with couples who have discovered infidelity. Couples are traumatized when infidelity is discovered and the clinician needs to help the couple implement immediate steps to prevent further damage to the relationship. Counselor strategies for infidelity are much different than what a traditional counselor would utilize. When couples set up an appointment with me, they will get in quickly, and experience a specific treatment approach for infidelity. I also help couples with creating intimate communication, conflict skills, creating emotional and sexual intimacy, and increasing love and affection.

I work with clients who are interested in addressing their concerns, formulating goals, and identifying solutions in a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and groups and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.
