Arbor Counseling is a group practice with several providers equipped to see people with a variety of needs across the lifespan. We treat children, adolescents, adults and families for anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, panic attacks, transition, grief, burnout, etc. Each of our providers have their own specialty but we all have a passion and respect for the healing potential of a person's faith and relationship with God that can be incorporated in treatment based on the requests of each person. We are usually able to accommodate whoever calls or will assist in finding someone who can help.

I understand that in life, many stressors often occur that can be difficult to work through. Sometimes, it is just needing a listening ear to help offer another perspective and provide support. It is my goal to make you feel heard and understood in person or through telehealth. I enjoy working to help make you feel empowered to overcome any circumstance that may arise.

Dayamiaha Jones is the owner of Day by Day Counseling Group LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Ohio. Dayamiaha earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Ohio Dominican University. She then studied Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling at Walden University earning a Master of Science in 2019.

Knowing your child is suffering is never easy. There are many reasons for which children of all ages may be struggling. Getting them the guidance and support they need is crucial to their development and success, as well as their overall happiness and quality of life. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults to help ease the struggles in which they may be facing.

Therapy sessions with me are trauma-, CBT- and DBT-informed. Sessions can be solution-oriented and/or psychotherapeutic. We can work on specific emotional regulation and/or social skills, process identities, set and plan goals, connect you to resources, and more. We can focus on identity development, transgender journeys, disability as an identity, anxiety and depression, chronic illness, queer/polyamorous relationships, and/or being religious and LGBTQ+. Hello, my name is Amanda Vanlaningham, LPCC, LIMFT and I am a professional counselor and family therapist. I have experience in working with families, adults and individuals in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, and PTSD since 2014. I strive to meet my clients where they are as well as supporting them on their journey to reaching their personal goals through skill building, insight, and increasing self-awareness.

I am a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience. I received my bachelor’s in social work as well as my master's of education as in intervention specialist at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I also obtained a master’s of social work from Case Western Reserve University. I recently worked in hospice to provide therapeutic intervention to families, individuals, and couples as they work through major life events. I have worked within the hospital systems for oncology, obstetrics, hospice, crisis, and as a case manager providing therapy for a range of complex needs.

I love helping people and I come with a very laid-back approach in wanting to help you where you're at, right now. We'll get to the messy stuff, and we'll work through it, but let's calm the storm Right Now.
