Kyle is the Founder and President of Collaborative, a multidisciplinary clinical community focused on establishing effective, evidence-based treatment founded on an adaptive mentalization-based treatment model. He holds advanced training in mentalization-based and adaptive mentalization-based integrative treatment through the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families. As someone famous once sang, life is "a long and winding road". I have asked many adults "has your life followed the path you expected?" All have answered with a resounding "NO!" As children we are taught to be fair. Therefore, we often grow up expecting life to be fair and become angry, anxious, and depressed when faced with an unfair situation. One of my goals in treatment is to help clients to acknowledge the pain in a given situation, work through it, and move on. There is much more to life than just today. I specialize in working with the chronic illness community with a focus on the Dysautonomia / POTS and Ehlers Danlos population as I myself also struggle in this area.
