I have 17 years of experience working within the field of human services in a range of many areas and in several different capacities. As a psychologist in private practice, I have the opportunity to work with people in order to optimize their emotional well-being. I work collaboratively with individuals to assist their identifying factors which have caused distress. Together we work to discover the obstacles to feeling better. We consider patterns that have developed over time to understand their adaptive benefits and maladaptive consequences. Welcome! I have worked as a School Counselor for the past 9 years and have my Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling. I work primarily with kids, adolescents and their families a few evenings after school in a private practice setting in East Rochester. I provide individual and family counseling services to address a variety of needs and concerns, including challenges associated with ADHD, anxiety, depression and other co-occurring disorders.

I have worked with various populations during my career as an LMHC and Private Practitioner. I have over 17 years of experience in working with people with developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have particularly worked with individuals struggling with anxiety or social skill concerns in a group or individual setting. I also have extensive experience in working with people that may be in a crisis; assisting families with assessment, behavioral strategies and potential referrals. I have also worked in a hospital setting, where I performed Psychiatric Evaluations on individuals that were in crisis.
