At my practice, I help individuals, children, families, parents and pardner's deal with the demands of everyday life. The stressors can be due to work, school, relationships, parenting or partner issues. For some trauma can be a big part of the problem in dealing with everyday stress. I have been in practice for 41 years at the same location serving a diverse client population including adults children, adolescents,teenagers,couples and the elderly. I am a forensic therapist who has testified in court. I have been identified as an expert witness. In addition, I have supervised other social workers who want to t are the licensing test for LCSW. During my private practice I have provided consultations to individuals seeking a therapist qualified to assist them in resolving the issues they are grappling with.

Patients that I meet with will receive a full range of psychotherapy services. I provide parenting counseling, relationship counseling, cognitive therapy, group therapy, psychoanalysis, and anger management. I am psychodynamically trained, but use an eclectic approach to address each client's needs. I am trained in CBT to work with traumatized or depressed children and adolescents. As a certified EMDR therapist I help clients struggling with PTSD, trauma, and attachment issues. I strongly believe in a mind-body connection, and help my clients strengthen their emotional well-being. I believe that clients who feel empowered, learn coping skills, and gain insight will achieve physical and emotional strength and wellness.

I am a mental health counselor with a limited permit to practice in New York. I have additional training in EMDR, dissociation, and historical trauma, and years of experience working in crisis management, the hospital setting, and in community-based mental health and wellness centers. My practice focuses on working with children, teens, adults, couples and families, using an eclectic therapeutic approach. I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from St. Bonaventure University.

Greetings, I'm Diamante! I am a bilingual Spanish/English licensed clinical social worker in both New York and Texas having worked in the mental health field since 2008. Over the years I've gained experience with people from ages 4 to 70+ from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of mental, emotional, and social challenges. I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my Master's in Social Work at Baylor University. I've worked in variety of schools and mental health agencies.
