I love to learn and continue to attend trainings in many different therapeutic techniques and strategies. I believe that therapy should be individualized and truly believe that the therapeutic relationship itself will foster the greatest results. My true passion is giving individuals the tools they need to better manage all of the different roles they play in their own lives. Depending upon the client, I tend to use mostly DBT and CBT related therapeutic techniques.

Dr. Weaver is a native of Pennsylvania and completed his Bachelor of Arts at Temple University in 1993. He was accepted into the Psychology Honors Program there and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was ranked 18 out of a graduating class of over 2000 students. He was awarded his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University, Garden City, NY in 1999. Dr. Weaver's clinical and research interests center around Margaret Mahler's Separation-Individuation Theory.

For over thirty years I've helped adults, children, adolescents and couples resolve their conflicts and lead more satisfying lives. I am flexible in my approach, paying special attention to the individual needs of those whom I treat.
