I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist serving NH clients remotely or in-person at my Greenland office. With my compassionate guidance, children and adults feel understood and can safely process their feelings and experiences in order to access tools for healing and growth.

AMH has immediate openings for adults with daytime availability and a short wait for minors. We are a small group practice in Dover, NH offering psychotherapy services. Our experienced therapists can help support you in making the changes you want in your life. We believe in a person-centered, strength-based approach to helping our clients, built on a foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. Our therapists' wide range of experiences and specialties often enables us to find a way to help almost any client, or to have the knowledge to assist a client find the help they need if we can't.

I believe in the power of healing and the ability of everyone to be able to overcome trauma and adversity. Having previously served in the military and first responder, and now as a school counselor for children, I am dedicated to the service of others with a humanistic, person-centered, and strengths-based approach. My passion is in helping others heal from the effects of trauma and the many other obstacles that life will present. Often times the hardest step is the first step. With a soft voice, compassion, understanding, and acceptance, I want to take that first step with you and empower you to find strength and resilience.

I find that a client is best served when they are listened to, validated, but also challenged to make positive change. That is why I take a cognitive behavioral approach to the counseling I do. Whether the client is a child or adult we all have the ability to learn from the past and make different choices for the future.

Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist with over twenty years of experience. I work primarily with children, adolescents and young adults. I draw from a variety of treatment approaches based on the needs and strengths of each individual including CBT, DBT, social skills training, psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy and brief therapeutic interventions. I believe in working collaboratively with clients and helping them identify and utilize their strengths.

I have extensive experience working with people experiencing substance use disorders and mental illness. I specialize in the collaborative treatment of anxiety and depression, the promotion of overall health, happiness and self-worth. I utilize motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.

I have a passion for helping kids that are struggling to become more successful and happier in their world. I like allowing kids to express in ways that help me to understand their perspectives. I find that better understanding their perspective and method of self expression can help me communicate in ways that the individual child better understands. I love working and playing with kids in ways that allow me to connect with them in a way that feels comfortable.

Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and EMDR clinician who specializes in treating childhood developmental trauma and attachment challenges in children and youths ages toddler to age 22 with their parents or guardians involved in the treatment. I provide both teletherapy and in-person therapy sessions for children, youths, and their parents, as well as parenting group workshops, parent and professional consulting, and trainings for professionals.
