Accepting day & evening clients. I work with a variety of clientele utilizing a person-centered approach, which means our sessions will start with you and your needs. Together, we will explore the issues that you bring to counseling in a holistic way, with emphasis on emotional and personal history perspectives. In our work together, it is expected that you will participate in the formation and completion of counseling goals so that our sessions will be meaningful and helpful to you. I have worked closely with clients with varying needs bringing enthusiasm, compassion and cross-cultural understanding to our work towards healing.

Clifford Wilson, LMHC Clifford Wilson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina who has been practicing since 1998. He has a Master's Degree in Counseling Education. Clifford's personal philosophy is eclectic in nature. He incorporates different theoretical approaches in helping the client depending on age and problems of the client. One of the theories he uses is Solution-Focus Therapy, a cognitive approach which address how we think. Clifford believes we can focus too much time and energy on the problem itself versus on finding solution(s). Another theory he might use is Person-Centered Therapy.

I believe that clients are the experts of their own experiences. I am unable to “fix” you, but I will bring professional expertise to assist you with any issues you may be experiencing. I will accept you unconditionally, listen to you, and communicate honestly with you throughout the process. I integrate different techniques based on your individual needs.

While using evidence-based practices, I incorporate a therapeutic bond with clients to help them on their healing journey. Angela graduated with her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Her previous work experience includes seeing children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting where she gained much experience with various mental health issues. Having been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Angela has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced traumatic life events.

Life events can feel overwhelming and challenging at times, and I believe we need each other’s support to journey through them. I specialize in play therapy working with the emotional and developmental needs of children ages 3 through 11. In my sessions, I provide an atmosphere that nurtures confidence, boosts self-esteem, and promotes healing for children of all ages. I believe the foundation created in play therapy can have a positive long-term impact in children’s lives. I am also trained in child-parent relationship therapy and work with caregivers and parents to develop and improve skills that strengthen the parent-child bond.

I work with adults, adolescents and children ages 5+. My areas of clinical focus include working with folks who are living with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, including Bipolar Disorder, family dysfunction, and codependency. I also enjoy working with parents and provide a culturally-attuned environment for folks within the LGBTQIA+ community.

I am passionate about improving the lives of children and their families by collaborating with parents and children to help them meet their goals. I work with children of all ages to address difficulties including anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, anger management, school difficulties, social skills, and behavioral problems. In order to help clients achieve clarity about their strengths and challenges, I specialize in comprehensive evaluations for children from birth through adolescence. Assessments can provide information about learning/academic achievement, developmental delays, kindergarten readiness, giftedness, attention/ADHD, behavior, or social/emotional vulnerabilities.

I will collaborate with my clients in order to develop a suitable plan to began their healing process. I'll listen with an attentive ear and is impartial to all individuals. I believe everyone's story is important. I work with all ages; children, adolescents and adults. Whether it's learning how to deal with past issues or changing behaviors, my desire is to help clients see life in a new perspective.

From an early age I have had a passion for helping others in an impactful way. I aspire and dedicate my time working with individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, sexual and domestic abuse, family discord, personality disorders and ADHD. I aid in assisting individuals who make a brave decision to seek out therapy for self or close loved ones, in order to live the best life possible.

She has a passion for working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders, and excels in treating complex childhood trauma. She also specializes in treating drug and alcohol addiction. Danielle believes in the power of advocacy and empathic listening as tools for change in the form of empowerment, self sufficiency, and self esteem. She combines evidenced based practices with creativity and holistic wellness, to create an environment conducive to meeting the unique needs of her clients.
