I have experience working with children, adults, couples, and families and helping clients manage their symptoms stemming from both every day and chronic stress.
I am certified complex trauma professional and utilize evidenced-based treatment models. I am certified in TF-CBT and in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I have received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Exposure Prevention Therapy well as extensive training in DBT to address tension-reduction behaviors and non suicidal self injury.
I have experience utilizing non-directive therapy approaches in my work including play therapy and sand tray. My treatment style emphasizes teaching clients to utilize effective strategies that meet their individual needs. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a partnership and look forward to working with you to help you meet your goals.
