I believe that relationships are one of the most important healing factors in overall health and well-being, and as humans we have an innate need to be heard and understood. My mission is to provide my clients with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to navigate life’s hills and valleys. I strive to empower my clients to strengthen peer, partner, and family relationships, discover underlying factors causing disruption, learn and utilize coping skills, and improve everyday living in their home, work, and school environments.

I help people gain freedom from their issues with a revolutionary technique taught by my mentor, Marisa Peer, voted Britain’s best therapist. With RTT I can fix anything from skin conditions to weight issues, to phobias, to addictions, to chronic illness and disease, in just 1-3 sessions. I’m still seeing traditional therapy clients, but since my accreditation in RTT, I’m focusing on moving my practice to exclusively RTT and coaching clients. My target client includes anyone who has been unable to fix or heal from any type of issue, they’ve tried other ways, but have been unsuccessful! RTT is the missing link that can free you!

I am from Malaysia and I have worked with culturally diverse populations with an emphasis on the Asian/Asian American community. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and commitment to fostering a warm and inviting space where you will feel heard, understood, and valued. I have worked with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, stigma about mental health, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief and loss, anger issues, self-esteem concerns, and more.

For many of us, asking for help is a challenge. We're used to being the helpers. We tell ourselves a million reasons why we don't need help-I should just get over this/I'm fine/it's not that bad/I just need to be patient/let's wait-and-see, and time passes, but not the worries/concerns.

My primary clinical area of focus is working with clients who are part of the queer (LGBTQ+) community. As a member of the community myself, I strive to provide affirming, knowledgeable and person-centered care. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults alike and my clients have included those who are gender creative/gender diverse, transgender, non-binary, polyamorous/consensually non monogamous, as well as the HIV+ community.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in LGBTQ-affirming care and working with BIPOC populations, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective counseling services to help my clients achieve their goals. With experience working with groups, individuals, and children and teens, I understand the unique challenges diverse populations face. I am dedicated to providing affirming and empowering support to help my clients navigate these challenges and promote mental health and well-being.

Sometimes it’s hard for your child or teenager to open up to you. Under the surface, they may be struggling more than it appears. Or their outbursts make it apparent that something is not right. It takes courage to acknowledge that your child is struggling and that you are not able to resolve their issues on your own. It takes even more courage to reach out for help. Hello, I am Amy Jacobs and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. Being in this field for the past three decades, I hold a perspective which honors that each person is unique, worthy of dignity and respect while having a need to be understood within one’s individual life and experiences. I find that we all naturally seek to move towards growth and evolvement, towards meaning and purpose, yet sometimes we may struggle in seeking and understanding this in the various life path’s we may be on. Much of my professional walk has focused on fostering growth in the lives of many children and youth.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, with more than 18 years of experience working with individuals and families. A Kansas native, I graduated with honors from Wichita State University. I specialize in using a strengths-based, person-centered approach in treating a variety of issues including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and relationships. I have completed additional coursework in Motivational Training, Strengths-Based Training, Trust-Based Relational interventions and Gottman Level 1-3.
