Our mission is to provide high quality, reliable, and evidence based counseling services for the community of Fresno. You do not need to go through this on your own… we are here to help. Welcome to Alliant Couple and Family Clinic! We offer mental health services to the community on a sliding fee scale. Services provided in-person in San Diego and Long Beach or virtually throughout California. Our team of pre-licensed therapists are available to treat mental health issues with individuals, couples, and families while receiving clinical supervision from highly experienced clinicians.

I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California and have over 12 years of clinical practice and 8 years of forensic experience assessing and treating a variety of Mental Health symptoms and disorders in both English and Spanish of culturally diverse individuals and families. Before starting my private practice, I worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health and substance abuse clinics, client homes, At-Risk Youth and schools. I conduct assessments for immigration purposes and am also a licensed Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) disability claims.

Accepting New Patients. When we feel stuck in our situation, it can create feelings of hopelessness. In addition to the many problems that complicate our daily lives such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, patients come to me with complex relationship issues including marital distress, divorce recovery, verbal & emotional abuse, loss of child, parent, or spouse. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, to address the root problem, not just the symptoms. Like physical therapy, the goal is to get well and end treatment. I offer perspective on your experience, and provide clear, concise directions on meeting your goals.

As a licensed clinical psychotherapist, I practice a holistic approach to treating the mind, body, and spirit. I identify the "root" causes of conditions and treat many mental health conditions such as ADD/ADHD, depression, GAD, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, and PTSD. Our clinic provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to individuals, children, couples, and families. My ideal client is one who strives to become emotionally, cognitively and psychologically healthy by applying the positive coping techniques that I teach.

Issues may be present for you that you not sure how to address, and you may be hesitant to seek help. I am a former professor of psychology for the University of Phoenix. As a therapist, a teacher and also as having had my own therapy for a number of years, I have learned that taking the first step and admitting a problem is always the hardest step to take. Childcare is provided during your session. Bring the kids to spend time at our Kid's Room, while you get treatment from our therapists. All of our therapists hold a minimum of a master's degree in a psychology-related field that qualifies them with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) to provide counseling/therapy in California. Sessions are available in-person as well as online via telehealth. We are accepting new clients now and can get you an appointment within 2-3 days. Open every day apart from Sundays, from 10:30 AM to late evening.
