As a psychologist with over 20 years of experience, I work collaboratively with clients and provide a nonjudgmental and nurturing space for clients to explore their challenges and overcome their struggles. I aim to assist my clients in learning skills and strategies that they can use to increase happiness and fulfillment in their lives. I am dedicated to identifying, understanding and treating the core issues that impact clients and lead to depression, anxiety and relationship dissatisfaction. I utilize trauma informed treatments to help clients cope with difficult past experiences and work toward healthier futures.
In addition to working with adults, as a former psychologist in the Division of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I enjoy working with young children, school age children and adolescents. Youth heal best in the context of a supportive family, so I often include parents in the treatment of their children.
Parenting, especially for a preadolescent or adolescent, is a challenging and sometimes exhausting task. I provide parenting support and developmental guidance to help parents effectively communicate with their children in order to form and maintain open and trusting relationships.
