My name is Gabriel Arroyo and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My desire to become a therapist began when I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 10 and was faced with learning how to cope with this significant change in my life. This experience allowed me to learn coping skills and strategies to overcome struggles that we experience in life and provided me with a passion to provide that same knowledge to others. As a Therapist, my approach is free formed in order to build a respectable comfort between us to work as a team on goals with your existing strengths and skills.

My ideal client is a survivor of human trafficking dealing with overwhelming shame, guilt, and feelings of worthlessness due to the stigma attached to their experience. They need a safe and validating space to heal and understand that being trafficked was not their fault. Their goals are to reclaim their sense of self, overcome emotional and mental challenges, and rebuild their fragmented identity. They want to feel valued, whole, and complete, free from the burdens of their past, so they can lead fulfilling lives. Their motivation is to regain their dignity and self-worth after the trauma they've survived.

Accepting New Clients for October 2023. I specialize in teens and young adults (ages 18-40) who are struggling with a variety of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. I utilize a mindfulness and a trauma-informed approach that focuses on teaching my clients how to increase self-awareness, increase self-love, become aware of their generational trauma, break unhealthy patterns and empower themselves to live calmer, peaceful, and more authentic lives.

Paulina Waas has been practicing Psychotherapy for 18-plus years. She applies Theory and techniques as she identifies the needs of each client individually. She has experience in treating Adults, Children, and families. She takes a Psychodynamic approach to mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and Panic attack. A thorough Assessment using DSM-5, crisis interventions, Behavioral and Cognitive Models, and Systemic Perspectives are applied to each case individually as needed. Life coaching is also an approach to guide clients to achieve their goals.

My greatest passion is performing my duties as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I feel honored working with clients who seek mental health treatment. I serve adults, adolescents, and children, with proficiency in various treatment modalities including, but not limited to, individual, group, family and child therapy. I utilize active listening, validation, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
