With each interaction I find that striking a balance between a safe therapeutic space and appropriate challenges leads to the most holistic healing and deeper insights. My ideal clients are 5+, including both children and adults who are looking to align their lives with their values, are struggling to overcome challenges, and need someone to provide guidance toward meaningful chang. While my speciality lies within neurodivergent community, all are welcome here. Come experience therapy with one of our specialists. We offer individual counseling for anxiety and depression, panic disorder and OCD, couples counseling for a variety of concerns, including infidelity treatment, trauma and EMDR counseling, and help with sports performance. If cost is a concern, we also offer low-cost counseling with one of clinical counseling interns.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, bilingual in English and Spanish languages. I have been an active participant in the mental health field for approximately 17 years and hold a specialty in the area of trauma and abuse. My work emphasis has been primarily with the children, birth to 17 years of age, and their corresponding family. However, I have experience and training in working with both adult and children populations in areas such as: grief, depression, anxiety, adjustments to new situations like: adoptions, relocation, clarification/reunification, relationship issues, and others.

I use play therapy and am a StoryPlay practitioner which is a mind, body spirit approach that focuses on resiliency and inner strengths. I sincerely believe that this approach can help a child/family express themselves and find the strength within them to overcome life's challenges. I use a strength-based approach which promotes hope and healing while honoring the child's needs. I also offer Brainspotting.

I specialize in using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help children, teens, or adults diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities reach their developmental milestones. I will create goals and model how to improve communication, daily living (e.g. getting dressed), coping, safety (e.g. crossing the street), social, play, and reduce behaviors (e.g. tantrums and aggression). I am currently accepting new clients who need intensive direct 1:1 in-home ABA services.
