Pam Giardina, LCSW, comes with thirty years of experience working with children and families facing stress. She spent twenty-five years as a Child Life Specialist at Arkansas Children's Hospital helping children and families cope with trauma, hospitalization, surgical procedures, and chronic illnesses. Obtaining a masters degree in social work was a way to develop and utilize her extensive experience outside of the acute care environment. She now uses evidenced-based therapies to help children, adults, and families with trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse, life-changing accidents, and death.

I graduated from John Brown University in 2018 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy. I have extensive training in trauma informed care, attachment based interventions, experiential play therapy, child centered play, Adlerian play and has completed level 1 theraplay training.
