**Accepting referrals for evaluations only*** I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in therapy for adolescents and adults as well as evaluations for learning and attention problems. I work with a variety of people who present with depression, anxiety, anger, relationship problems, as well as academic or learning difficulties. My focus in therapy is to help people understand, process, and regulate their emotions in effective and healthy ways. I see it as a collaborative process where we work together to find relief and new ways of being.

As Licensed Behavior Analyst, I founded ASBI to support our neurodivergent communities by making ABA with a trauma-informed approach, more accessible and individualized. I lead with the assumption that each client I work with has had trauma that may have inhibited their emotional growth, skill development, and the ability to set boundaries, or form trusting relationships. Compassionate care is an essential component of my practice, where trust is built and skills are practiced in a safe space, both physically and emotionally.

I work well with patients suffering from symptoms that they feel no one has the capability to treat. Many of my patients come to me after they have been to other therapists and have not found relief. My patients come to me for a psychotherapeutic experience different from the usual. The patients who are a good fit for my services are sensitive, intuitive, creative, and have had difficulty reconciling their personality with their personal experiences and the world around them. I am especially skilled at working with acute mental health issues. I have worked at Harborview Medical Center and Fairfax Behavioral Health.

I am a Licensed Marriage and family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I have worked with individuals, couples, children and families for over 20 years in private practice and other settings. I offer a variety of treatment options including play therapy, sand tray therapy, mindfulness practices and EMDR.

I am currently Telehealth only. I use a a bio/psycho/social/spiritual approach, Play Therapy and EMDR to help rewire the nervous system so that it can experience states of calmness and heartfelt connection with self and others. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, specifically those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, worry, grief, & loss. I also specialize in helping kids learn emotional regulation, increase frustration tolerance, overcome behavior problems, & develop secure attachment.

At Moxie, we strive to provide this space as well as provide skills to help navigate challenges. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in work with children, teens and families. I earned my undergraduate degree in Counseling from Asbury University in Kentucky and my Master's degree in Community Counseling at Regent University in Virginia. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Health through the University of Washington.
