Friends of the Family (FOFM) offers top-quality counseling services for children, teens, adults, couples, and families at affordable out-of-pocket rates. Thanks to the generous support of donors throughout the community, we operate from a Sliding Fee Scale that goes as low as $30 for a session. Our Counseling Team includes Sherry Doggett, MA, Jessica Carter, MA, and Alicia Deal, Graduate Intern. FOFM counselors are under the direct clinical supervision of Robert Lewis, MA, LMFT. I work closely with caregivers to provide insight into children’s behaviors, developmental needs, and neurobiological processes. I help clients to develop strategies for use at home and school, and my work is always grounded in the latest research from the fields of neurobiology and interpersonal neurobiology. I also consult with school staff on behalf of the children I serve.
