I have experience working with individuals of various cultural backgrounds, which has provided me with the experience in helping with a diverse area of mental health difficulties from Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder, (veteran, infidelity, domestic violence, physical, emotional and sexual abuse), family and couple therapy . I help my clients decrease their depressive and anxious symptoms, identify their positive thoughts, decrease worries, feel relaxed, happy, sleep well, and develop good relationship with others.
I am trained in Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adults. I provide a safe environment for my clients so they will feel trust, connection and comfort to express themselves freely. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a goal to decrease their symptoms with various techniques and tools they can later use on their own.
My goal in therapy is to help clients gain a deeper level of understanding and insight into their daily struggles, educate them about the cause that underlies their symptoms, and provide them with the appropriate tools to make lasting changes in their lives. I work collaboratively with my clients to tailor therapy so that they can be their own therapist.
