I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over twelve years of experience. I have counseled families in areas including foster care and adoption, medical hospitals, inner-city communities, private school, and psychiatric facilities. I presently work at a private practice in Plano and specialize in anxiety, anger, depression, and struggles with mood, also providing pre-marital and marital counseling as well.

I have lived in the DFW area for twenty three years and consider myself a Texan who wasn’t born here, but I am here to stay. I work under Nanette Rousseau of Rousseau Counseling. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Life Coach and what I can offer is safety, connection, empathy, and understanding. I utilize empirically supported tools, open communication, and great listening skills. I have a special interest in Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to working with children and families. I treat a number of childhood emotional and behavioral disorders and have advanced training and experience in the treatment of mood disorders and anxiety disorders (e.g., OCD, social phobia, and selective mutism). I also have unique experience in providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents whose emotional problems occur alongside developmental differences, such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, or mental retardation.
