I offer ADHD neuropsychological testing for children, teens and adults between the ages of 5 and 60. I have extensive training and experience in mental health assessment, including a year at the University of Minnesota Discovery Clinic, the UMN child/adolescent neuroscience center during my doctoral studies. I completed my doctoral Internship at Fraser where I also specialized in assessment. Testing is not just about the process of testing, but the quality of feedback and recommendations that can be made based on feedback. I am happy to offer my clients specific feedback to increase their level of fulfillment and success.

Namu Integrative Therapy Services, LLC is a private practice dedicated to working with individuals around healing traumas and oppression through a holistic and decolonized lens. Our providers have experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, marginalization, adoption (domestic, transnational, and transracial), foster care, complex and developmental trauma, grief, self-esteem, identity, spirituality, depression, anxiety, attachment, racial trauma and oppression, and somatic work.

With 40+ years working as a psychologist, I work with a variety of clients struggling with mental health and life issues. Many clients seek my help for anxiety, depression, serious and persistent mental illness and life transitions. My patients include children as young as 7, adolescents, adults and seniors in their 80's. Clients are often referred to me for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relationship issues and sports-related performance concerns. I also have experience working with individuals and families where there are life-threatening health issues, infertility and pregnancy loss for both mothers and fathers.

I am honored to offer space to process and reflect and help clients connect to themselves and others in a deeper way. I believe we each have our own inner widsom and therapy is a place to discover that wisdom. Clients describe me as down to earth, creative, compassionate, funny, direct, warm and intuitive. I specialize in grief and loss, education, healthcare and mental health professionals, secondary and primary trauma and clients who have connection with adoption or foster care. I work from strength based and trauma informed models and draw from IFS, Attachment, Narrative and Somatic/Experiential/Sandtray modalities.

Sarah has experience providing group, individual, and family therapy. She has worked with most ages in a variety of settings including schools, daycares, homes, and day treatment centers. Sarah believes in the value of each individual’s unique strengths and aims to guide her clients towards healing through creativity. Sarah’s approach is gentle and informative while offering a safe, warm, and encouraging environment. She hopes that her clients will feel heard, as she seeks to understand their concerns and find ways to guide them towards their therapy goals.

My adult specialties include perinatal mental health, childhood trauma, anxiety & depression, parenting transitions, and parent-infant bonding challenges. I also value working with single and LGBTQ+ parents. Together we can explore your past experiences, relationships, & patterns within a secure therapeutic relationship to foster growth. I honor clients’ diverse identities and recognize that many internal struggles are reflective of systemic, sociopolitical issues.

FamilyMeans Counseling & Therapy programs have been providing care to adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples for many years. Our counselors are highly trained and experienced in their areas of expertise and truly enjoy helping people through the struggles they bring to counseling. Counselors provide a safe and open environment to make changes within areas of concern. Counseling experiences are unique to each person as are their situations. There is no “one fits all” in counseling and our skilled clinicians work with you to reach your goals.

If testing is needed or required to differentiate or refine a diagnosis or to broaden your knowledge and inform your concerns testing is available.

Dr. Jonathan Hoistad has been involved with Developmental Psychology; Clinical Psychology; Health Psychology; and Neuropsychology. He has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings. He is expert in Psychological evaluations for ADHD; Learning problems; and emotional problems. His doctoral research on Dialysis and Transplantation has prepared him to help people with medical problems and different surgical interventions. He is involved with NatalisOutcomes.org which measures emotional functioning over time to support people in their getting effective evidence based services.

I specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults and their families covering a range of issues. I focus on working through and solving problems that are unique to each person's perspective. I feel it important to listen to each party's concerns and get to the root of the matter with assertive yet gentle guidance. My goal is to provide a safe emotional environment for children and adolescents dealing with complex issues so that they can express their concerns and develop ways of coping with their difficulties, successfully.
