My name is Hallie and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults with various emotional needs. I specialize in treating trauma and have experience working with all ages on processing and healing after trauma, however I also see adults and children for anxiety, depression, or difficulty in relationships. I tend to develop a teamwork approach with my clients. Developing a trusting, comfortable relationship is an important part of the therapy process. I enjoy using humor, games, art and music in my therapy sessions - whatever fits for you!

I work from a person-centered perspective. I am able to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and many other therapy techniques as they fit for the client’s needs. I am especially experienced in working with those who have intellectual disabilities due to my extensive background in providing direct care. I am also well versed in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community as I identify as member in the community.

Please Note:Current availability is limited to Saturdays mornings and mid afternoon. As your therapist Sam will follow your lead in the healing process. She will work with you to develop goals towards creating the life you desire. Sam's specialty is a combination of art and talk therapy, although art therapy is not required to participate in therapy. Through these approaches she works with her clients to address their individual needs for expression, learning, and growth. Therapy is a safe space to tell your story and find a place for healing. Sam also has a vast understanding of postpartum healing and parental stressors.

Hello and Welcome! I am an LISW therapist (Licensed Independent Social Worker) and a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. As a therapist, I work with children adolescents, families and adults. I provide a unique combination of expressive and more traditional therapies. I have obtained highly specialized training in play and sand tray therapy, attachment, trauma, and Theraplay. I am EMDR certified with both children and adults. I am also a SoulCollage (R) Facilitator. This practice uses printed images to create a visual journal of one's life.
