Brooke approaches psychotherapy from a whole person perspective - addressing mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational health. Creating personal growth and lasting change as opposed to a temporary fix is the goal. Her focus includes individual, couple, trauma, family, and spirituality counseling. Brooke utilizes EMDR, Attachment Assessment, Cognitive/Dialectic Behavior Therapies, and Trauma Theory alongside talk therapy with her clients.
Brooke became a therapist after a career in strategic consulting, a time as a stay at home mom, and a Bible study leader/speaker. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before private practice counseling, Brooke's clinical experience included crisis intervention counseling to adolescents and adults at Ridgeview Institute.
Brooke has a warm, empathetic style and enjoys working with clients whose faith is an essential component of life decisions. She has training and years of experience in helping individuals explore their beliefs about God's love, forgiveness, and other questions in a nonjudgmental environment.
