As a clinician, it is my honor to walk alongside patients who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-image complexities, marital and family struggles. I also enjoy working with patients to discover their own life’s mission and pursuing purpose with passion.

It is my intent to raise awareness about mental health issues. Why is it important (glad you asked)? Because it affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Let’s reduce the stigma related to mental illness. The more we talk about mental health conditions, the more normalized it becomes. Starting the conversation is the first step. Let’s talk!

ACCEPTing new clients virtually/in-person. Life can be hard, extremely tough at times. Do you feel like life has become too overwhelming? Therapeutic Family Solutions is a group practice serving individuals, families, and couples in Roxboro, Raleigh, Durham, and all surrounding areas in NC. All of our clinicians are licensed professionals, treating those who suffer with mental health disorders, which include adjustment disorders, mood disorders, anxiety related disorders, personality disorders, traumatic stress disorders, and substance use disorders. We use CBT and other evidence based practice modalities. Our modalities are culturally comprehensive and inclusive. We provide a free phone screening to determine if we should proceed with the initial clinical assessment.

It has been pointed out to me by clients, colleagues, family and friends that they find it easy to talk to me. It is not uncommon for strangers to share there challenges and successes with me after a few words of casual conversation. If I were to list what I thought allows me to build rapport so easily, I would have to say that I believe it is because people are able to sense that I care about them genuinely. As a therapist, I care about seeing each one of my clients reach the goals that they set for themselves.
