Our individual therapies include play, creative arts and talk therapy for children and adolescents struggling with functioning in their families, school, community, and social/interpersonal relationships. We are a dynamic, innovative, pragmatic and professional outpatient mental health service program with a patient-centered treatment model that is geared toward providing services to the multicultural community within which it operates. With a specialty in providing treatment to children and adolescents (ages 5-18), Hope Services, LLC also accepts and treats adults. We are therefore dedicated to the mental and behavioral healthcare of children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. We offer a safe, therapeutic, comfortable, and respectful environment. I am a Licensed Creative Art Therapist with a BFA in Film/Television from New York University and a MPS in Art Therapy from School of Visual Arts. I have spent my career working with a wide spectrum of clients of varying ages, racial, ethnic, gender and sexual identities using both talk and art therapy to help address issues such as depression, anxiety and trauma.

Contrary to popular opinion, I do not believe in safe spaces as a viable, long term solution to anyones’ challenges, unless you’re willing to sacrifice your autonomy and allow fear to dictate how you live. However, I firmly believe that therapy should be a safe place to explore the issues that are creating fear and discomfort. Life is chaotic and unpredictable, and while there is a time and place for utilizing safe spaces, they should only be used in the short term. I’m very invested in empowering my clients to foster bravery, resilience, and perseverance so they are well equipped to navigate the challenges life throws their way.
