I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma and relationship difficulties. I have helped clients get through intense periods of sadness, self-doubt and major life transitions. Therapy has been used to explore and understand feelings particularly as they come up in the moment. It also encourages individuals to reflect on their behaviors, look at how their past influences the way they perceive and experience their lives and make choices that are in line with their needs.

The impact of systemic oppression and racism is traumatic and integrating systemic experiences and their relationship to the challenges you are managing, is foundational to my work with you.

I work with individuals from all walks of life who are experiencing family issues, dealing with past trauma, navigating gender identity, work stress, and general life challenges. I also have experience working with clients who have struggled with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and PTSD.

As a clinician, the therapeutic process is only meaningful and complete with the reciprocity and engagement of those I work with. Each individual is unique and their stories are interwoven with a rich tapestry of diverse emotions. I am a graduate of NYU in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling, and I enjoy being in a career that is service-oriented. Working predominantly with couples, families, and pediatrics, I have extensive experience getting to know and understand the unique identifiers each person holds, and how that impacts the therapeutic process. While I can work with any client, I specialize in family therapy, couples counseling, parenting, sex therapy, women’s issues & pregnancy, religious identity, vocational counseling, neurodiversity, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, and OCD.

I work with clients to identify their most important areas for personal growth, develop plans for change, and enact that plan; by matching the therapy to the client, ensuring that every client develops tools and strategies to tackle their own personal challenges and life transitions.. My approach includes influences from yoga, drama, music, and art.

I find myself drawn to working with people who struggle with work-life balance, poor time management skills, and those living with bipolar disorder and ADHD. I excel in making others realize that they have something special to offer, so that is my main goal with each of my clients.
