Dr. Laura Ehlert, PsyD, LP specializes in working with children who display developmental issues such as ADHD, poor emotion regulation, impulsivity, processing/learning deficits, social skills delays and poor behavior management. Combining a cognitive-behavioral and problem-solving approach, I assist clients and their families with recognizing how their brain and sensory systems process information and the connection to their emotional and behavioral issues. These insights arthe the stepping stones to developing the skills for self-regulation, social and academic success.
I am always working to stay up to date and knowledgeable about current research regarding learning, sensory, ADHD, executive functioning, behavior and mood disorders. I have expertise in sensory, food/nutrition sensitivities, and processing deficits as they relate to self-regulation, learning and behavioral issues.
