I am a Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. I specialize in therapy for children, pre-school through adolescence, and their families. I also work with a broad spectrum of adults and couples. I combine therapeutic play, mind-body and brain-based therapies, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help children better understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Through therapy, children can then learn to make better choices, have healthier relationships, and feel positive about themselves. My work with children includes trauma, grief, adjustment to parent separation/divorce, difficulties with mood, problem behaviors, social challenges, ADD/ADHD; Asperger's Disorder, and Autism.
My work with adults is solution focused to help you better understand and resolve life challenges. Combining talk therapy with mind-body and brain-based therapies, which are based in the latest neuroscience research, we work together to help you process deep emotions and negative thoughts that can interfere with your mood and meaningful relationships.
I collaborate with all clients in a warm and relaxed environment that is tailored to your unique needs. This may be traditional talk therapy, mind-body work, or a focus on your spirituality.
